With everything I do, with every part of my life, I want to inspire and move women. I’m on a quest to get women to recognize the beauty around them and then choose to actually live in that beauty. This is life from a particular perspective. A beautiful perspective. It’s when we take note of all that is around us and find beauty in both the big and the small. It’s when we take it in and then serve that beauty right back out to the world.
Beauty begets beauty.
I want women to recognize beauty when we see it. It is literally all around us. Sometimes we glance over it, but mostly we see it. Many women I know live by the beautiful, and are driven by the beautiful. We use beauty to navigate though our lives and to make sense of a past. Beauty always makes us think, wonder, question and do. Beauty motivates me.
I surround my self with beauty – old family photographs, small trinkets from my mother, poems from relatives, textiles from world travels…every corner of my home has depth of memory. These pieces help me create new expressions of beauty, which then help me feel beautiful, which then move me to embrace more beauty, which then propel me to create again. It’s a continuous, eternal, motivating factor of life – beauty.
From with in the small we find what is powerful.
Finding beauty is about sometimes living in the past, looking carefully at the present details, and always imagining for the future – how things should be.
Finding beauty brings us closer to feelings of loveliness, of pretty, of glory, of majesty, of radiance.
I’ve found beauty in product and things – there is definite beauty in the inanimate. Books, art, jewelry, potions, these small things are important in my life. But deep beauty is mainly about the bigger things these inanimate pieces make me think about. Whenever I experience deep beauty I’m transformed and my thoughts are clarified.
In my life there are hundreds of inspiring, breathtaking, powerful and beautiful women. My eyes are always open to women with a beautiful point of view. Women who take us on their quest for deep and meaningful connections. Women who look for beauty in order to find enlightenment. I find this form of determined-living beautiful.
The women in my life dish their beauty out to the world and in turn, help me feel wonderful in the midst of life’s grandness.
In the midst of all this grandness – I always choose – to be living in the beauty.
